Rehearsal & Creative Facility

THE WEL is a multi-purpose space designed to cater for creative people in music, drama, photography – any creative area we can accommodate.  

Prices

Band Rehearsal: £14 per hour = £35 for a 2½hr Session
Includes: PA system, 3 microphones, 1 drum kit, 2 guitar amps and 1 bass amp. Extra microphones and equipment available with prices starting from £1 per item.  Here is the full equipment spec.

Solo performers and Tutors: Starting at £6 per hour.
Drum tutors, guitar lessons, vocal coaches, woodwind, strings and brass instruments.

Photography/Video Shoot: Starting at £6.50 per hour.
A great space to shoot photography or video, The Wel has 3 Standard Serge Black Drapes on 3 walls which can be removed to leave white walls.

Drama/Theatre Rehearsals: Starting at £6 per hour.
A great environment for conducting casting or rehearsal sessions.

About The Wel

We have a clean and comfortable, well-equipped, working space including use of a chill-out area where free WiFi, complimentary tea and coffee, spares shop, snacks and microwave are all at your disposal.

For the musicians we have a full equipment spec of regularly maintained guitar amplifiers and tuned drum kit.

For clients requiring a space to shoot photography or video, or perhaps an environment for conducting casting or rehearsal sessions, we are ideal.

Located just off Bonnington Road in the Leith area of Edinburgh, with free parking… THE WEL welcomes you.

To enable us to maintain a high standard of facility bands/acts will be asked to take out a free membership and sign our Membership Agreement.
