Keith Easton

Event Professional | Announcer | Event DJ | Show Caller | Podcast Studio Manager

Keith has vast experience of coordinating entertainment and is highly experienced in the role of Show Caller at indoor and outdoor events, regularly working at awards shows at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. With his experience of booking and working with DJs, bands and entertainers, and as an Announcer and DJ, Keith is in high demand around the UK. 

Keith also manages and works as a Producer at The WEL Podcast Studio producing many shows for a diverse range of clients.

Keith is the regular Show Caller and Stadium DJ at Scotland’s National Stadium, Hampden Park and in 2022 took on that role for Heart of Midlothian Football Club.

An experienced Event announcer, Keith is the regular man on the Mic for Rat Race Adventure sports events around the UK and has worked as the announcer at The Edinburgh Marathon, for Irn-Bru at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Homeless World Cup.

Voice-over

Keith is available for voice-over work. He delivered all the event announcements for the Queensferry Crossing Experience in 2017 and the 2018 Edinburgh Marathon Festival.

Qualifications and Licences

ProDub DJ Licence
The ProDub DJ Licence allows an individual to copy music they own onto various formats and devices, such as from their CDs to their laptop, for the purpose of using that device to undertake professional or semi-professional performances, such as those undertaken by DJs.

National Safety Passport (2015)
Passport schemes for health and safety are a useful way for employers to check that somebody working on their premises, or elsewhere doing work on their behalf, has received basic health and safety awareness training.

Stadium DJ | Show Caller

Regular Stadium Show Caller and coordinator of music at Hampden Park for The Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup Finals and Semi-Finals as well as all Scotland International World Cup, European Qualifiers and friendlies. Keith was also selected to be the Stadium DJ for the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament in 2021.

In 2022 Keith joined the Sports Presentation Team at Heart of Midlothian Football Club.

Keith has also worked at many rugby events, including Scottish Rugby’s 6 Nations and Autumn Test matches as well as for Edinburgh Rugby, IRB World Rugby 7s, The Guinness Pro12 Final in 2016 and The Touch World Cup in 2011.

Event Announcer | Compère | DJ

Keith is best known as the regular man on the microphone for Rat Race Adventure Sports Events around the UK working at the legendary Rat Race Dirty Weekend, The Mighty Deerstalker and the much loved Men’s Health Survival Of The Fittest series.

As an experienced Announcer and Event DJ Keith has worked at many events for a variety of organisations:

Keith has also worked as the Stadium DJ at many rugby events, including Scottish Rugby’s 6 Nations and Autumn Test matches as well as for Edinburgh Rugby, IRB World Rugby 7s, The Guinness Pro12 Final in 2016 and The Touch World Cup in 2011.

Event Music Production

Keith is experienced at working closely with Sports Governing Bodies, PR and Marketing organisations and the teams/individuals involved when compiling playlists and playing music and National Anthems at major sports events and awards ceremonies.
